10-15-20m 4/5/4 Element Delta Loop (Heavy Duty)

10-15-20m 4/5/4 Element Delta Loop (Heavy Duty)

A 4/5/4 element Tri-Band Delta Loop Antenna for 10, 15 and 20m

Product Code – 10M4-15M5-20M4WWHEAVY

A 4/5/4 element Tri-Band Delta Loop for the 10, 15 and 20m band from our ‘Heavy Duty’ range. Manufactured from lightweight but extremely strong construction grade 6082-T6 Aluminium stock with a heavy duty boom. This tri-band antenna features 5 sections of 6082-T6 or AA6082-T6 (+10% stronger) tubing (availability depends on stock) on the 20m vertical sections, 4 sections on the 15m and 3 sections on the 10m and is an extreme performer.

We were asked by users in EU to come up with a design and configuration for the three main HF bands (20/15 and 10m) that was a world-class leader in performance and this is the result.

The antenna includes 6.35mm Diameter Wide Multiplate Element Brackets for the 10 and 15m elements and 10mm A2 304 Stainless Steel plates for the heavier 20m elements plus H/Duty Polyamide Element Clamps and comes complete with M10 Stainless Hardware. The top wires on each loop are manufactured from copper-clad steel (in essence copper coated stainless steel) which is extremely strong and robust. The breaking strain of this alone is over 250kgs. This wire is the secured using marine-grade (316 stainless) hardware and Vortex’s unique “Cable Strain Relief Mechanism” which pretty well eliminates a top-wire failure. Download our TOP-WIRE info sheet.

The antenna is supplied with all hardware including a bespoke 4 point boom harness with Mastrant synthetic guy wires capable of handle well over half a ton of load and a mounting solution to suit either a 2 inch, 2.5 or 3.0 inch support mast (50.8 to 101mm).The mounting kit uses 4 x Group 6 ‘Stauff’ HD Aluminium clamps to secure the array and 4 x M10 stainless U-Bolts.

The antenna has undergone various development work during 2017 but we are now very happy to   show you the actual build. This particular antenna has been built for a customer in Northern   Ireland. See our data and info. We think you’ll be impressed!

The antenna has 4 full size loops on 20m, 5 on 15m and 4 on 10 meters giving you superb world-class
mono-band performance on each band.
On 15m the gain is excellent and we’d pitch this as a sure winner against any large 15m array.
To note: Images show test antenna before gamma matches and ‘V’ bracket supporting hardware was fitted

• Potential buyers are urged to contact us first as this is a very large antenna.
• We can advise on the best choice of rotator systems and shipping options.
• As we prefer to ship boom sections in 5m lengths (and we frequently visit the EU mainland), we can ship to you personally with our own transport. Doing this means we can ship using single 5m boom sections (not available with most couriers).
• Drop us an email and we can then organise the best options.
• Buyers from outside the EU should contact us first to discuss the best construction/shipping options
