A 4 element Yagi Antenna for the 11m band from our Tornado ‘Heavy Duty’ range. Manufactured from lightweight but extremely strong construction grade 6082-T6 Aluminium stock with a heavy duty boom. The antenna includes Heavy Duty Element Brackets, Heavy Duty Polyamide Element Clamps and comes complete with M10 Stainless Steel Hardware. The antenna has a nice linear bandwidth and will stretch to around 1Mhz 2 to 1 limits. Also during testing, we found the forward pattern to be quite sharp reducing unwanted QRM from the sides (over 40db) and also to the rear.
Antenna is supplied with all hardware except boom to mast mount (see below). A mounting kit which comprises of stainless steel saddle clamps and U-Bolts, together with an 8mm 6082-T6 Aluminium Plate can also be ordered from the dropdown menus. The mounting kit fits either a 2″ (50.8mm mast/pole) or a 2.5″ (63 .5mm) mast/pole.

VORTEX BOOM TO MAST PLATES
All VORTEX Antennas can be shipped WITHOUT any boom to mast mounting plates. Select this option from the dropdown menu when purchasing. Other options include the choice of mounting plates and complete mounting solutions with U-Bolts and Brackets.

VORTEX PLATES ‘B’ or ‘C’
For 50.8mm (2.0”) Booms and 50.8mm (2.0”) or 63.5mm (2.5″) Mast is suitable for this antenna.
Mounting Plates are also available separately from within the ‘Accessories’ section of the shop.
